Uke Logic string sets are made from high quality "super fluorocarbon" aka Super-Carbon. A high-density formula of fluorocarbon that is tonally different from the average fluorocarbon ukulele string. Uke Logic string sets are available as all-plain Super-Carbon and additional options are available for players who prefer metal wound strings in combination with Super-Carbon.

My Tenor Loves These 4 people found this helpfulThe stock strings on my KoAloha Slimline Tenor were starting to fray. Since it is a special ukulele, I went on the hunt for special strings. I never truly understood what "balanced" strings meant, until these. The volume and ring is even across all four strings. The basses do not sound too loud (booming), nor do the trebles sound too bright (pinging). This quality allows for better volume control when strumming. For reference, I generally use Worth Browns, as I like a mellow warmth from a tenor . I therefore chose the Soft Tension, Unwound Low G, in Sandia pink. The G string fits perfectly in the nut slot. The feel is glassy smooth, yet soft on my hands. The beautiful clear pink tint brings out the purplish tones in the koa, as well as picks up the colors in the paua dots. And, as everyone knows, music always sounds better when played on pink strings. La vie en rose! My tenor loves these, and so do I.

Amazing strings! 3 people found this helpfulI put this string set (wound low g - soft tension) on a Fender Montecito, which was my least favorite ukulele of all that I currently have because it never seemed to sound “alive” and it had little sustain although the volume was alright before. Let me tell you, I am amazed at the difference this string set made! It sounds and plays so beautifully now and the sustain goes on and on! I am going to try these strings on the higher end ukulele I have and hope I get a similar result. Another thing I’ve noticed: If you’re a beginner or have a hard time holding chords / lack finger strength - these are the strings you need!! They make playing so easy on my hands and the sound they get out of this “mid way okay” Uke is just unbelievably beautiful.

Uke Logic the new string du jour 3 people found this helpfulSo I'm a serial string changer. Since the Koolua Gold has been discontinued, I've tried literally every string in the catalog and even tried fishing line. The best of the best in my opinion are Living Waters, and Oasis warm. I just strung my concert uke with Uke Logic soft tension in the sandia pink color. Like the two mentioned these are silky smooth, squeekless, with the perfect amount of tension. Intonation and sustain are top shelf. Where these Uke Logic strings excel is the C string, not boomy when strummed but easily rings out when accented. Also, love the color. It is subtle but easy to see. These are excell strings. There is no getting around the fact that they are also a little pricey ( Oasis has a double set for the same price) but I'm hooked and will purchase again. Why Kooloah stopped making the Gold I'll never understand.

Harry 2 people found this helpfulI purchased a very expensive ukulele online from a different store (big mistake)! It’s a ukulele that I paid well over 3k for. It was Beautiful the prettiest thing I’d ever seen! It also sounded like crap! It was thin and thready plucky sounding with little sustain and no warmth. I called and spoke with Kalei and described my problem. He was amazing and suggested that before I sell it I should try these strings. I chose the low G soft tension unwound set. I have to say I was just hoping that I could make it sound good enough for me to be able to sell it. That’s not what happened! I ended up with the ukulele that I was anticipating when I bought it! Warm full sounding and with great sustain! I never would have thought that a set of strings would make such a difference in sound! I’ve found my new go to brand of strings!
