Return & Cancellation Policy

Deciding which ukulele to buy can be tough. Of course we try to help you out by carefully selecting the instruments we choose to carry. We have narrowed your selection to the best value in each price range. After you decide on an ukulele and place your order, your order will be processed, your ukulele pulled for set-up and it will go into the queue for our signature full-set up. It full set-up, the technicians will fine tune and improve the instrument from its factory condition. They will also take time to assess any possible blemishes or concerns discovered upon set-up, and will contact upon discovery. The criteria we use is determined by the price range, but even the least expensive ukulele goes through the same processes.

All cancellations will incur a 3% deduction from the refund for processing fees, so feel free to call or email us if you have any questions prior to purchase. For any order changes, you can reach out to [email protected]. All online orders have a 72 hour approval period. Once the instrument has arrived, acclimated and been opened, you have three days to evaluate it. In the event of a return, we deduct our outbound shipping costs out of the refund, and the buyer is responsible for return shipping. A 3% restocking fee will apply to sales where payment processing fees are incurred by us, including credit cards and Paypal. This fee is waived on cash/check sales. A 15% deduction will occur on instruments that have been modified with strap buttons or pickups, or with those involving trades. You can email Veronica at [email protected] requesting return or exchange. Note: As long as your initial request (email or voicemail) is within the 3 day period, your return will be honored regardless of how immediate our response.

For Domestic US shipments, you will receive a full refund but will be responsible for the shipping cost. If you decide upon a new ukulele, methods of exchanges can be discussed via email as well.  We will send you a link to our return form and a return shipping label for Fedex shipment, and it's cost will be deducted from the refund when the return is processed. When you receive the label you will print it out, pack it in the original box with sufficient padding to safely ship (refill humidifier if need be), and drop it off with Fedex (our shipping service) or another local option.

For international shipments, return shipment will be the responsibility of the customer. You can contact us at [email protected], so she can send you a link to our return form, and we ask that you provide us tracking when the return is shipped. We recommend insuring the shipment, as we will not be liable in the case of damage. You will receive a full refund for items returned when the shipment is received.

Once your ukulele has made it back to our warehouse, allow for 1-2 business days (Monday-Friday) for your refund to be processed. Once processed, allow for up to one week to receive funds to account of purchase. NOTE: If you have had strap buttons or a pickup installed, a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. International customers will be held accountable for any customs and duties incurred by the shipment, as well as arranging return shipment of the ukulele.

If you think your ukulele was damaged in shipping notify us right away at [email protected] so we can file a claim with the shipper. Please keep the original packaging available for inspection and send photos of how it was received. We will try our best to accommodate you with a new instrument right away when possible.

If you received a defective instrument (not due to shipping) then we will send a return label, and when we receive the return, we can determine if the ukulele is defective. If so, we will either replace at no charge or credit in full including shipping, whichever option you would like. Ultimately we want you to be happy and get a better uke than any other store offers.

We put a lot of time and effort into helping you, by improving the quality of the instruments we ship you. This is why we truly believe we are giving the best value in the ukulele market. Even though we reject many instruments, and go through an extensive setup, you must realize that these are all {hand made} by humans and there is very rarely an instrument that you could not find an imperfection with if examined closely enough. We also consider the price range of the instrument and hope you can also have reasonable expectations. Our goal is to give you the best ukulele you will find in each price range, an instrument that you can love for many years. We send many ukes around the world every day and have thousands of satisfied customers. We feel confident that we can meet or exceed your desire for a quality instrument and a hassle free experience.
