Corey samples the famous KoAloha concert.

This is a new koa ukulele made 100% right here in Hawaii with solid koa wood. This is one of the most popular choices for Hawaiian-made instruments. Because of that we cannot keep them in stock, but when we do it's a treat. The KoAloha concert has a beautiful voice that can go from soft and beautiful to explosively loud! At any dynamic range it's full of vibrant tone. Plus, it's easy to play with a smooth feel you'll love!

KoAloha concerts usually come with friction tuners. This batch has upgraded hipshot KoAloha 25 year anniversary geared tuners at no upcharge.

This new KCM-00 with abalone logo inlay, and an ebony bridge and fingerboard with abalone fret markers. That along wiith gorgeous koa wood and the new gloss finish make the KoAloha concert more beautiful than ever.

If you had yours eyes open for a good Hawaiian-made instrument, this one sounds sweet, feels great, and looks beautiful.

This ukulele, purchased by my fiancee from HMS, is the reason of my passion for the instrument. I like: the loud and clear sound, the great precision, the light weight, the finish of the product (perfectly assembled, beautiful wood), the design of the fret board. I don't like: the tuners are not that great(it is sometimes hard to fix the instrument on the perfect tuning), the instrument is loud but sometimes has a bit of an overdrive sound. It might not be suitable for musicians looking for a more "guitar-like sound".

Lightweight, great volume, sweet "woody" tone using Worth strings, sustains nicely. Sounds lovely strummed or fingerpicked. The main selling point for me over the Kamaka and Kanilea models that were available to me at Acoustic Vibes was price and the unbeatable lifetime warranty. Big fan of the "Lisa Simpson" headstock, amber friction tuners, and the understated gloss finish, too.

I bought one of these uke's from HMS about 6 months ago. Mine has a lovely burl in the wood, better than some customs ive seen, however this was luck and the ukes have different wood grains. The quality level is 4 out of 5, some small glue marks visible but otherwise excellent. The sound is awesome, very light and bright, excellent intonation, sounds very much the concert it is. It's well known for good reason, I have never heard a bad word about the KoAloha Concert, and for good reason.

I own a KoAloha concert, and it is wonderful. It is my main ukulele I take to jams as it has a very rich and full sound. Also, mine has so much volume that it EASILY keeps up with the tenor ukuleles all my friends play. As a vintage ukulele player/collector, the KoAloha ukulele seems to be made in the tradition of earlier Hawaiian built ukuleles as opposed to mainland built ukuleles. It is light, lines are clean and simple, and the sound is powerful. KoAloha doesn't "bling-up" their ukuleles with a thick glossy finish. The finish seems just right in that one can really feel the wood of the ukulele rather than a thick coat over the wood. I have a Kamaka, and vintage ukuleles from Martin, Favilla, Gibson, and others....and in my opinion, KoAloha is very much on the same level as far as quality and sound as those ukuleles.

Low on bling but high on sound and volume is the best way to describe the KoAloha concert. These instruments are louder than you might expect, have a great warm sound and are naturally beautiful, made from solid Hawaiian koa wood with unique soundhole shape and headstock that help them stand out in a crowd (if the sound is not enough). KoAloha is also known to have one of the best warranties out there with countless stories of KoAloha doing the right thing for their customers out on the Internet when an extremely rare issue comes up. If a concert is a the size you're looking for you can't go wrong with a KoAloha.
