My default ukulele 0 people found this helpfulI have five ukuleles, from soprano to tenor and from laminates to solids. This is the one I play more than any other. She is a sweetheart and has an especially lovely tone with the Aquila red series unwound low G. The only drawback in my opinion is the slightly-wider-than-normal neck, which makes it more challenging on barred chords for me.

Fabulous!! 0 people found this helpfulI am a total beginner and chose this uke as my first one because of its sound/tone. I am totally thrilled! The wood grain and color is more beautiful in person, and the craftsmanship is flawless! I looked it all over and its incredible. The sound it produces is beautiful, mellow, yet happy; it's not too bright, and not too muted (both important to me). It's very easy to play with HMS setup! I told them I was a total beginner and I can strum on it, and an working on 4 strum patterns, and 3 chords. I couldn't be happier! Oh, I have to add that I have very little in music background, nothing formal, but I'm having a blast with this!

Great cheerful and round sound! 0 people found this helpfulLooking for problems for this uke might take some time. It is a beautiful instrument with both great looks and great sound. The cheerful sound of this concert uke has body and depth thanks to the solid mahogany wood. The only reserve I would express would regard the Aquila strings. I changed to Martin strings, and over the 8 months that I’ve been playing this uke, I noticed how the sound developed and became richer.
