Product Review (submitted on September 7, 2015):
This ukulele just sings. It's more gorgeous in person than in the photos and with a beautiful tone that I would describe as bell-like with a guitar-like flavor. I went to the North Carolina ukulele academy in Wilmington, NC and they had over 400 ukes to try. This one sounded the most well-rounded to me even against the $2000 solid koa's. It can bark, growl, mellow out, and sing a tune. I can't recommend this uke enough.
I was between this uke and the Kala KA-ASAC-T solid acacia model. Same price but the acacia model wouldn't project enough for me. It was too quiet. This one has projection to spare plus a preamp system too (I am planning to play on stage) but even without plugging it in it sounds spectacular.
