Solid Acacia Wood w/Gloss Finish!
This is the new deluxe acacia concert from Pono. It features beautiful acacia wood with a smooth thin gloss finish. It's easy to play with a clear, sweet voice. Kris Fuchigami gives us a short sample.

Acacia is a family of trees that Hawaiian Koa belongs to. This is not Hawaiian Koa but comes from a very similar species found throughout Asia. This instrument was built on one of the Indonesian Islands with hands on guidance and quality control from the Ko'olau Ukulele Company. These are constructed by the finest instrument makers and to Ko'olau specs and design. This Gloss finish and woods used on this model are gorgeous. We were happy to hear these, because they are impressive with tonal character!

Not good. 0 people found this helpfulI got it yesterday and i had to wait 15days from u.s.a to u.k. Mine has too serious buzzing. Specially, fist string and third string. I thought it was occured by strings so i chagned original strings to aquila strings but.. the buzzing did not change and rose ..big, The problem was from nut furrows. The nut' furrows are too deep for first and third string. I had to fix it my self. It it better now. However, I disappoint. No value, Not good set up work..(I believe seller did not set up work.)
