Worth ukulele strings are unlike most other nylon ukulele strings as they are made from an expensive flourocarbon material that improves intonation, note clarity, and sustain. These are sold in double length sets so each package actually contains enough string to make two sets. Extra long, each string can be cut in half before installation.

These ukulele strings come in two types: Clear denoted by the C in title, or Brown denoted by B in the title. Both have same diameters, but players say the Browns are a little less tension and warmer while the clears are tighter and crisper sounding.

Lovely deep sound 1 people found this helpfulAlthough they are a bit more pricy than Aquila, I believe they are the nicer sounding strings. They have a much smoother, fuller sound than other brands, while retailing the Hawaiian groove! I personally use the low G version of these. This is the only brand that does not have a wound low G, and is therefore the only brand whos low G strings actually last more than a couple of songs!!! Plus, it sounds great.

My Favorite Strings 0 people found this helpfulIf you play ukulele then you've probably heard of Worth strings. If you haven't, well you're in luck because now you have. These are great strings. They really bring my ukuleles to life. Strings are in my opinion just as important as the wood the uke is made from. These strings have a very even, precise tone to them. They stay in tune well and have great sustain. They even seem to improve intonation. This is 2 sets of strings. I strung up a soprano and a concert with this one set with no problem.

I love worth strings 0 people found this helpfulI have tried many strings, and it seems like I always end up back with the Worth browns. They may feel a little thin compared with some other strings, but I love the clear sounds and also the feel of these strings. Some strings feel too loose or floppy for me. The worth strings, once tuned up, hold their tune and I rarely have to adjust them. They are expensive, but you get two sets from one package.
