Clumsy Handle 1 people found this helpfulI must agree with other reviewers. I love my new Pono MC-PC (which came with this hard shell Oahu case), but the handle on my case is ugly, and too big for my lady hands. It's a small thing, really, and I have to let it go...but the handle really mars the beauty of the case. It looks bloated and ungraceful.

Poor Quality 1 people found this helpfulI bought this case with my Islander ukulele from The Ukulele Site about 9 months ago. I have only used it about 6 times leaving my house. I hang my ukulele on the wall at home, so it rarely gets opened. I went to toss something in the storage area, and discovered one of the hinges is cracked. The case has never been out of my sight when not at home. Needless to say I am VERY disappointed.

Great Value for Price 0 people found this helpfulI have a Ko'Aloha Sceptre tenor ukulele - and iit was very hard to find a case for it, due to the shape. While I was in California, a friend from Ukulele Underground suggested I try the O'ahu case from HMS, so I called them. I had the case in 2 days, and while my Sceptre doesn't fit perfectly (the shape is very different, and the body is very thin), with a couple of microfiber cloths for padding I feel the instrument is very well protected. Most of my instruments come with hard-shell cases, but if I were to buy an ukulele that needed one, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another case from HMS

Great Case!! 0 people found this helpfulAt first I thought it was quite a bit more to buy this case compared to the canvas case. But then I realized if I am going to buy a really nice ukulele, I'm going to want a really nice sturdy and durable case! I will be recommending this case to all my friends and I will purchase another for the next uke in the future!

Great case! 0 people found this helpfulI bought this along with a Kala tenor, and it fits perfectly. The handle that came with mine is different than the one in the picture; I assume they've changed the design. There's also red stitching on the top that I think looks nice.
