looks way better in person than the photo on the website 0 people found this helpfulI love love love my Kala KA-ATP-CT Gloss Tenor Slothead that came from HMS. The sound is perfectly balance for me, the finish is flawless, looks way better in person than the photo on the website, it just feels good to hold. One detail that you can’t see in the picture is the Kala logo is laser cut to reveal the darker wood in the headstock, then filled with the finish. This shows the depth of the logo , not just printed on then glossed over. It’s the small things that make this uke a great deal. I had a little problem with the strings and the guys took care if it right away, (Not Kala or Aquila’s fault). Prep and shipping was fast, got to California in two days once shipped. I have a low G and it is a nice fit. You can’t go wrong with this one, especially when you factor in the price.

Amazing Sound! 0 people found this helpfulWhen I was shown this Ukulele, I was told that it had a cedar top and sounded great, so I tried it. I was immediately convinced. I was looking for an economical but great sounding guitar. I have purchased Kala products in the past including the Acoustic and Solid Kala UBasses. I have not been disappointed. This ukulele, however, sounded so great for the price that I had to have it. I note that it is made in China, but the workmanship is flawless. The only thing that I noticed was not the same as the more costly ukuleles was that the tuners are not as smooth. They hold the tune well however, so I would not let that stop me. The Cedar top does resonate beautifully and the Slotted headstock is really cool to look at. I didn't purchase this at HMS, but I definitely would have had I not wanted it "now". The setup that they offer can't be beat. You won't be disappointed! Robert
