We always include a humidifier with solid wood instruments. This is not an option, and we do not charge for it. However, if you live in a cold or dry climat please upgrade to the oasis humidifier.

Beautiful looks and sound! 0 people found this helpfulThis ukulele is a great choice! This was my second ukulele and I was looking for an upgrade at a decent price. The sound is very full and beautiful. I'm in love with the slotted headstock and the wood on the body is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. I did not receive a humidifier with the ukulele as promised, but emailed Hawaii Music Supply and they sent an Oasis humidifier (the upgrade) right over at no charge! Great customer service, great ukulele, great price!

Absolutely lovely, and a joy to play. 0 people found this helpfulThis is a fantastic instrument. The lines, coloring and wood grain all look better in person. I was concerned about the gloss finish, as I tend to prefer matte, but it just works with the acacia and paduuk wood tones. The slot-head gives it a visual distinctiveness, and the tuners are smooth and effective. Setup by the Ukulele Site team was superb, and included an upgrade to Worth Brown strings. The result of dedicated setup and this string choice has been an immediately-playable instrument that sounded broken in right out of the box, and has continued to improve over three months of heavy daily play. One note is that this Uke likes to be humidified--sound deteriorates rapidly if case humidity level falls below ~50%. I use the Oasis guitar (tan colored) humidifier, as the Uke (blue) version did not provide enough h2o. This is my second Uke, a step-up from the Luna Great Wave Pineapple Soprano (which is also great for its price point), and I couldn't be happier, with it. Thanks to the fine folks at HMS for making it happen. Cheers!

Lovely to look at, delightful to play. 0 people found this helpfulThis has become one of my favorite ukuleles. I picked it up on the mainland at a designated guitar/ukulele shop that does its own set-ups, But those sorts of shops are few and far between outside of Hawaii, so I'd recommend buying this through HMS. I also have a Kala spruce top (a concert set up by HMS) and the contrast between these two tonewoods is striking. The cedar is much warmer, which is not to say muffled. Notes ring out clearly, but the sound is more delicate. Intonation is good. As others have noted, the looks of this uke are striking-the binding and the circle around the sound hole draw together the autumnal colors. The gloss is gorgeous. All in all, the cedar top gloss tenor is first rate.

STUNNING sound and look!! 0 people found this helpfulI decided on this model as my first tenor specifically for the looks and how it sounded on your website . I had it upgraded with Red Aquilas, and the binding and rosette just POP off the uke! The sound from the cedar top projects amazingly and beautifully! I've had a hard time putting it down since it arrived. In my opinion, worth WELL more than the sticker price. Mahalo nui loa!!
